STYLE // LITTLE BLACK DRESS

Hi guys! I was lucky enough to receive this beautiful black mini dress from a lovely girl called Emma who has recently started up her own dress boutique! This black dress is an ESSENTIAL in every girls wardrobe. The colour Black just goes with everything and anything and is suitable for any type of occasion. The idea of it being a dress is crucial as a little black dress can be worn in all seasons as it never goes out of fashion and for any time of the day whether it being day or night - you can dress it up or down for any event.

This particular dress has a gorgeous cross over back detailing on the back which gives the dress a bit more of an edgy look so it doesn't look so plain. However, it can be annoying to wear as it easily shows off your bra so you would need a backless bra to wear this staple dress otherwise it doesn't look too flattering (demonstrated by me!)

I decided to pair the dress with a simple pair of black heels. I mean, you can pair with black heels but it does blend in with the dress and I think it needs a tad of colour to make the outfit look complete. (These are the only pair of heels I own so I couldn't demonstrate)

I recently purchased this stunning statement necklace from Ebay for only £3.99 which is a complete bargain if I must say so myself! A necklace of any kind would be perfect matched with this dress as it really brings out the shape of the dress and gives it a more favourable look overall.

 The yellow and blue colouring of the necklace makes it more of a summer look, however it really dresses up the look.

WHAT'S NEW AT LILU FASHION

I have recently had a fashion outburst where I'm constantly looking at clothing websites and going into fashion stores and lusting over everything! When I was browsing the internet, I came across this online fashion website called Lilu fashion. They are a small company who have recently created their own website and have grown in popularity from fashion lovers and bloggers. Their clothing is seriously something else and I honestly haven't seen a online store like it. They sell gorgeous prints of clothing of two pieces and playsuits etc and their clothing really pulls it off! So I thought I'd put together a little post about their 'What's New' collection and chose some items I really like!

This blue floral playsuit is something which doesn't need anything added to it to create a gorgeous outfit, it speaks for itself! The blue print is stunning with the added black colour to it's background which is perfect as I'm a sucker for any black clothing! The low cut adds a slight sexiness to the outfit and makes it suitable to wear on a girls night out or just on an everyday summers day.

This tie dye loose black and white playsuit is a staple for any girl's wardrobe this summer as even though it is black and white, it's still great to wear in the summer season as it is a playsuit and the white dye print gives the look a bit of an edge and spices the playsuit up so it doesn't look plain and simple.

This bright floral print pom pom 2 piece is definitely a trendsetter from Lilu fashion! Everyone is loving the pom pom detail on 2 pieces and shorts this summer and this one seriously does not disappoint! The forest floral print just gives it the summery feel it needs and is one of my favourite types of prints at the moment.

I am loving Lilu's kimono collection this season, they have really caught my eye, especially with these two kimonos! I love the black tassle look at the bottom of kimonos as it's such a unique look and is really sleek. I am obsessed with black kimonos but feel as though it's not summery enough so this kimono is perfect as it has a beautiful, elegant print of big flowers all around it which just looks absolutely stunning! The second kimono is this oversized green kimono. I wasn't so keen of the oversized look at first but the print changed my mind completely and now I seriously want it! It can be paired with so many outfits - a tee and shorts, a bodycon dress for an evening look, and even worn as a jacket to keep you warm.

Lastly is this gorgeous light floral print playsuit with a sheer black lining. I think the playsuit speaks for itself - it's cute and pretty, yet sexy with the added lining and perfect for all occasions.

I thought I would show you some of my favourite shorts to wear this summer and how I styled them to create a casual, comfy look for those long, hot summer days where all you want to do is chill and you don't really fancy dressing up! I'm definitely more of a shorts girl than a skirt girl; just because they are so much more comfortable and easy to wear.

STYLE // SUMMER LOVING

I was so excited when the style club got in contact with me and asked me to become part of their ambassador programme! They sent me some lovely summer pieces to show you guys and give an honest review of them to you! I fell instantly in love with the daisy print playsuit. The daisy print is so flattering and pretty and really gets you ready for summer. Even though it's an overall black playsuit and that colour isn't exactly a summery symbol, the print makes it suitable to wear for summer. There is a nude lace detail in the centre of the playsuit and at the top back of your body which adds an extra sexiness to your outfit and is an unique item of clothing instead of the same old layout of a average playsuit.

I didn't think this outfit needed much to add to it as it speaks for itself! However, you can pair it with a nice leather jacket if it's a chilly day or just wear it as it is. I know I feature these shoes in basically all of my posts but these New Look Black Boots looked so sleek with this playsuit! It created a gorgeous casual look as this is what I would personally usually pair this playsuit with. The boots are the perfect height and have a nice small chunky heel and are so easy to walk in - this is perfect for me as I'm not very good at walking in heels!

The Primark Pastel Pink Satchel Bag is a must for any girl's wardrobe! Primark have so many different colours of this satchel - pastel blue, black, pink etc. And even better - they are all mostly pastel based colours which is a beautiful soft colour which is perfect for summer and looks good with any outfit. It was only £6 which is bargain (obviously - it's Primark!) It added a touch of colour to the outfit and actually colour-coordinated with it brilliantly!

I also received these beautiful floral shorts! They are just the BOMB! I have never really owned anything like this before as I usually wear neutral colours all the time but I love these shorts! The pink floral print is so vintage-like and adding the white detailing at the bottom gives them such a modern twist. The material of these are extraordinary as they are nice and thick so you can tell they are amazing quality. I was given a size medium due to them not having a size small which is my usual size. But I'm so glad they sent me the size up because 1. They still fitted well around my waist (so if you do buy them, just to inform you that they're sizes do run small) and 2. it gave my thighs some room instead of being tight-fitted. I really like the baggy look of shorts as it makes you look so much more complimentary and even makes your legs look longer so it's a bonus all round really.

I styled them with a basic v neck white tee from New Look which is such a staple piece as it goes with EVERYTHING and perfect for holidays as it's a nice, thin material and makes your body feel so fresh. And again, I paired them with the boots - nothing else to be said ;)

STYLE // OOTD: RIPPED JEANS

Hi guys!

I thought I would do a outfit of the day for you today seeing as I haven't done one yet!

I went for a bit of shopping today with my lovely friend and there was no reason to get dressed as its only shopping! So I decided to go for a casual look wearing my new ripped jeans from Topshop! I love these jeans! They are super comfortable and you can just tell they are amazing quality. They are quite pricey, but they are Topshop jeans people! I think they are well worth the money if you will get good use out of them just like me! I paired them with a basic v neck white tee which I purchases from Primark for just £4! You can't have enough basic tees in your wardrobe - they are an essential in every girl's life. They are just so easy to pair with - for a casual look like mine, or styled with a pencil skirt etc for a more formal look. I love the idea of pairing these style of tops with a gorgeous statement necklace - it just really brings some colour and depth to your outfit. Finally, I wore some Aztec black sandals which are from Primark and were also £4! Such a bargain.

On the day I also bought some new sunglasses as I was in desperate need of some new ones for this year and decided to go for these lovely round ones. I don't really think sunglasses suit me that much but these ones just looked really cool so I thought why not!
