OMG FASHION FLORALS

Hey guys!

I was kindly sent this gorgeous bright blue floral playsuit and pink and blue floral two piece from OMG fashion! Both of these pieces are perfect for the summer and upcoming holidays! I really love the idea of the bright, bold colours in the summer and it gives off the summery vibe and gives a nice feminine touch. The material of both of the items aren't too thick and you can really tell they are good quality clothing. I was given a size 8 in both the two piece and the playsuit and it is very true to size! They both fit really nicely and the shorts of the two piece have an elasticated waist so it is much more comfortable to wear. However, the shorts of the two piece and the short part of the playsuit seem very baggy around my thigh area which doesn't bother me too much as I like the baggy-look. OMG fashion have a range of different patterned/coloured playsuits and two-pieces on offer at the moment and I would really recommend you checking their website out at www.omgfashion.com or their instagram at @omgfashionshop
I thought both of the pieces didn't need anything extra added to them like jewellery or any accessories as the bold print really stands out and completes the look already! I paired both of them with my favourite black pumps from New Look but for a more summery feel, I would pair with a pair of basic pastel coloured or neutral coloured sandals.
Make sure you check their clothing company out as they have a gorgeous range of summer/festival clothing and all of their staff are really friendly and  communicate well with all of their customers.

Hope you have a lovely weekend and I will be putting up a new blogpost very soon where I will be showing you some more new clothing items I have been sent!

STYLE // KIMONO LOVING

I am really loving kimonos this season and I thought it was about time that I bought one! I recently bought this floral kimono from a lovely girl called Molly who has her own business where she makes custom-made kimonos. She can make pretty much anything you want - the type of material, the pattern whether it is a plain colour a floral pattern, the size, the length and if you want tassles or not. I received my kimono quickly with first class delivery and I was so pleased and impressed of the quality of the kimono and how well it fitted me. Her kimono prices range from £22-£25 which can be pricy for some people but it is well worth it!
Her Facebook page is UrbanBirdClothing and she also has depop which is also UrbanBirdClothing.
Be sure to check out her service!

H.O.T WISHLIST

Hi girls! I love creating wishlists so I can share with you all the things I am loving at the moment so you can lust over them as well! Today is a wishlist from a company I have recently discovered which is House of Trendella. I came across them through Instagram (houseoftrendella) and I saw they had some really on trend fashion pieces so I checked out their website which didn't disappoint! The clothes are very stylish and fit perfectly with the current trends. All of their clothes are affordable which is just a bonus considering how high-quality they are and the beautiful design of them and include a range of different brands such as Motel Rocks.

I am lusting over monochrome at the moment and this stunning  Zebra Print Oversized Tee completely harmonized that! This would look gorgeous with a pair of casual jeans or more dressed up with a coloured skirt to add a jot of colour to your outfit.

Statement necklaces are a must this season and I saw this Gypsy Warrior Breastplate in Silver and I fell in love! It adds a tad of glamour to any outfit which can be paired with anything from a smart blouse, to a casual vest. The silver colour means you can wear it with pretty much anything without it looking tacky and overdone.

I wear my H&M black leather jacket everywhere I go; I'm a sucker for them! When I saw this Cream Collar Jacket - it added to my love even more! The detailing on this jacket looks immaculate and is definitely my favourite item on the website! For £35.00, it is definitely worth investing in as it can be worn throughout the year, in any season.

The last piece I loved on House of Trendella is the Blue Ripped Shorts. I thought these looked really cute and completely tied in with the summer season. The distressed look is really trendy right now and I think this look is timeless! This could be easily styled with a baggy t-shirt or a blouse to smarten the look up.

STYLE // TROPICOOL

Hi girls! Because summer is arising in the UK (yay!) and I will start to go shopping for summer pieces very soon - I thought a summer clothing blogpost would be perfect! The tropical trend is something creeping into fashion this summer and is becoming hugely popular. I found some lovely pieces across the most popular high-street fashion stores that tie in with this trend and I also tried to mix and match different clothing items such as playsuits, trousers, shorts etc so this post can benefit lots of different people who may not want to show off their legs this summer and like to cover up their body.

This lace trim tropical print shorts are from Missguided and oh my gosh.. they look INCREDIBLE! I love the added detail of the black lace at the bottom and the pockets which ties in with the black tropical colour theme on the actual shorts. I am obsessed with black clothing at the moment and this item makes it suitable to wear black in the summer by adding a touch of pale pink and a tropical print. This would look perfect with a plain tee tucked in it or a plain tight fitted crop  top. You could also pair this with a simple pair of sandals or even chelsea boots.

This palm tree print playsuit is from New Look and I am just LOVING New Look at the moment! I never used to find anything in there that really caught my eye but recently I have been loving their clothes and how well they fit in with the current trends this summer. Playsuits are my no.1 this summer as they are so comfortable and don't show off too much skin and they also look so flattering on any body shape! Again, the playsuit makes it acceptable to wear black in the summer.

I found these range of tight-fitted crop tops on the Miss Selfridge website. I decided to include this as it is an essential for basics in your wardrobe as they go with anything and work well in any season. I love the fact that they come in a variety of different colours and even some floral prints! They can be paired with basically anything that takes your fancy… jeans, shorts, skirts. For just £8, I think they are a crucial clothing piece as you would really get good use of wear out of them all throughout the year.

This gorgeous blue floral playsuit is from Missguided and is only £24.99! I think it is well priced due to the high quality of Missguided clothing and for a long-lasting playsuit you can wear all throughout spring/summer, you can’t go wrong really!
I’m sure you’ve heard so many bloggers rave about print trousers this season but.. I’m gonna join in with the rave anyway! This is definitely my favourite trend at the moment and because I love wearing trousers as I don’t always like showing my legs, and I’m trying to add a bit more colour to my clothing at the moment, these are perfect! These lovely pair are from Miss Selfridge and they are only £28! Now I think that’s amazing pricing for Miss Selfridge as they can usually be quite pricing and not in people’s budget range (well mine anyway!). I would recommend every girl purchasing an item like this for summer as I just think they look beautiful and would suit any bodyshape. They are sold pretty much anywhere.. New Look, Topshop, Primark.. it depends on how much money you want to splash out to be honest.
What’s your clothing essential this summer?

STYLE // THE CROCHET TREND

The crochet trend has made a strong return this summer and I'm super glad! I feel the crochet look gives a luxury edge to this spring/summer as it is so well detailed and pretty. I have a few tops from New Look that have the crochet hem pattern embroidered at the bottom of the top and think they look so innocent and pretty looking. But I decided to do a post about my new white crochet short purchase! I purchased these from Depop but are originally from H&M (I am unsure if they are still available)
The one thing I was worried about these shorts when I was waiting for them to be delivered was that they wouldn't have any linen inside the shorts so they would be see-through and I'm really not a fan of short, see-through clothing. But when I tried them on, you couldn't see a thing thank god! The material is thick so it would not tear easily. The pattern is so detailed and makes them look so summery!
I paired these with a grey crop top from Monki (from Asos) and my Aztec sandals from Primark which were only £4! such a bargain!

What's your favourite signature summer item of clothing?

REVIEW // BEAUBOUTIQUE JEANS

Striped Tee - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Jeans - BeauBoutique
Bag - River Island

Hi girls! I was lucky enough to be sent these amazing denim jeans from Beau Boutique to give an honest review of them to you guys! This colour blue is like a light pastel blue which is perfect for the upcoming summer season in which you can match with basically anything! It works great for a casual look with a basic tee and pumps with a killer bag!

I got these jeans in a size 27' inch as I am a size 8. However, I would recommend going one inch down size as they fitted nicely but sometimes I had to pull them up a bit! But Beau Boutique did send a white belt with the jeans which gave me the perfect fit. My height is 5ft 2" and I found that the length was slightly too long on my legs but that's probably due to me being so short! But it does look flattering wearing them full length but you can always roll them up like I did! The material is lovely and thick so would keep you warm in the colder days. In the picture, you may think that the material is quite tight as they are slim fit jeans, but in fact they aren't too tight and feel extremely comfortable and I would really recommend purchasing a pair from them.

Make sure you check out Beau Boutique's website - www.beau-boutique.com where they sell a range of celebrity and vintage style fashion! They also have an Instagram page @BeauBoutiqueUK where they upload regular images of their latest arrivals and fashion inspiration!

GUEST BLOGPOST // CURRENT FAVOURITES BY DANIELLA

Hello lovelies, I’m Daniella from http://freshlypressedbeauty.blogspot.co.uk and as Lauren was kind enough to guest blog on my blog I am doing the same. Today I will be sharing with you my current favourites, everything from television programmes to make-up products.

My biggest favourite of the past few months has been Urban Decays Naked 3 Palette, I’m sure you’ve heard of this little gem by now. It’s a gorgeous rose hued palette with 12 different shades. It has been my go-to eye shadow palette ever since I bought it. Is it weird to say that I’m completely in love with it? Try it out for yourself and you will see what I mean.

Next up is a MAC favourite and it’s there Amplified lipstick in Impassioned. I’ve been lusting over this beauty for a while and they finally had it in stock when I went to my local MAC counter. Impassioned is a gorgeous bright pink, it lasts on the lips and it’s perfect for summer.

Revlon Colourstay is a great dupe for MAC’s Studio Fix and £10 cheaper. I love this foundation for its great lasting power and its wide shade selection. Although my skin is dry this high-coverage foundation rarely sticks to any dry patches.

VO5’s dry shampoos are amazing, in my opinion they are better than Batiste ones and they smell so refreshing. It soaks up all the oil in my hair without leaving residue. It’s always cheaper than Batiste so it’s a winner in my eyes.

For my fashion favourite I have been loving this monochrome squared wrap skirt from Primark. It goes with everything and even looks great without tights. It was a great bargain at £9!

I have three television favourites to share with you. I have rekindled my love for Netflix and I’m kind of hooked on watching multiple episodes of a programme in a day. First up is Gossip Girl, I’ve watched all of this before but I missed Blair and Chuck, what a perfect couple they are! Orange is the New Black returned yesterday with a second season and I’m already hooked. Give it a day or two and I’ll be finished the season… Lastly is Awkward, this is an American show about an awkward teenager and her awkward moments in life, a whole lot of awkward!

What have you been loving lately?
