POLYVORE OUTFIT #1

Hi guys,  I thought I would spice up my blog a bit and include posts where I have put together an outfit on Polyvore. It's a great way to show you guys what sort of style I'm into at that time and what clothing I'm interested in.

I am literally obsessed with oversized jumpers at the moment, I can't think of a blogger that isn't. But they are just the comfortist types of clothing and perfect for the cold weather at the moment. What I love about them is that there's so many ways to style them - can be dressed up with some heels and nice jewellery, or dressed down with some ripped jeans and boots. The way I have styled them is with the effortless black jeans. I am constantly wearing my black jeans at the moment, mine are from Topshop. They just do with absolutely everything and anything and look awesome with a grey coloured jumper. The bag is just a standard black tote bag which is so practical as it can fit everything into it. You can find tote bags pretty much everywhere but I found a gorgeous one from Forever 21 which was only £18!
I wanted to add a slight touch of brown into this outfit as I am loving this shade of brown in the winter. I don't own enough things this colour but I think it is just so chic. I love the chelsea style of these boots with the added heel. I love a boot with a heel!
Now, I am not a girl to always wear jewellery on a day to day basis, but my one of favourite types of jewellery to wear are rings. I saw this burgundy statement ring and thought it just added an extra something to the outfit, making it look very stylish. This ring is fairly expensive, but we can all dream!

Outfit details-
Grey Jumper - lagarconne.com - £120
Black Jeans - Topshop - £38
Brown Boot - C21stores.com - £23
Tote Bag - Forever 21 - £18
Ring - bloomingdales.com - £59

Let me know if you like this new idea of outfits I've put together and I'll do them more regularly :)

Lots of love,
Lauren x

Hey everyone! Please forgive me for the lack of blog posts lately.. I've been struggling to get access to a laptop to write blogposts for you guys and I've also been so busy with sixth form with the start of coursework.

REVIEW // CO LAB DRY SHAMPOO

When it comes to dry shampoo's, I'm always stuck in the same place. The Batiste Dry Shampoo is always the one I grab on the shelves and I never think about the idea of trying something different. Once I finished my huge 400ml can of Batiste, I decided to change things up a bit and invest in a new dry shampoo release by the gorgeous Ruth. I've heard so many great things about his dry shampoo range so thought I would see what the fuss was about! The collection comes in a range of different names including London, New York and Tokyo. I went for the 'New York', stating it has a fruity fragrance to it. The smell of it is actually lovely and so refreshing - I like the idea of the scents as it makes your hair smelling so fresh and clean. The number 1 compliment I can give Colab is that it doesn't leave any white residue like most dry shampoo's on the market. (Praise the lord!)

I genuinely would recommend this product to anyone looking to find a dry shampoo which does the job well at keeping your hair looking clean and refreshed throughout the day and at a low price.

You can buy Colab Dry Shampoo at Superdrug and Boots in the UK.
