STYLE // TROPICOOL

Hi girls! Because summer is arising in the UK (yay!) and I will start to go shopping for summer pieces very soon - I thought a summer clothing blogpost would be perfect! The tropical trend is something creeping into fashion this summer and is becoming hugely popular. I found some lovely pieces across the most popular high-street fashion stores that tie in with this trend and I also tried to mix and match different clothing items such as playsuits, trousers, shorts etc so this post can benefit lots of different people who may not want to show off their legs this summer and like to cover up their body.

This lace trim tropical print shorts are from Missguided and oh my gosh.. they look INCREDIBLE! I love the added detail of the black lace at the bottom and the pockets which ties in with the black tropical colour theme on the actual shorts. I am obsessed with black clothing at the moment and this item makes it suitable to wear black in the summer by adding a touch of pale pink and a tropical print. This would look perfect with a plain tee tucked in it or a plain tight fitted crop  top. You could also pair this with a simple pair of sandals or even chelsea boots.

This palm tree print playsuit is from New Look and I am just LOVING New Look at the moment! I never used to find anything in there that really caught my eye but recently I have been loving their clothes and how well they fit in with the current trends this summer. Playsuits are my no.1 this summer as they are so comfortable and don't show off too much skin and they also look so flattering on any body shape! Again, the playsuit makes it acceptable to wear black in the summer.

I found these range of tight-fitted crop tops on the Miss Selfridge website. I decided to include this as it is an essential for basics in your wardrobe as they go with anything and work well in any season. I love the fact that they come in a variety of different colours and even some floral prints! They can be paired with basically anything that takes your fancy… jeans, shorts, skirts. For just £8, I think they are a crucial clothing piece as you would really get good use of wear out of them all throughout the year.

This gorgeous blue floral playsuit is from Missguided and is only £24.99! I think it is well priced due to the high quality of Missguided clothing and for a long-lasting playsuit you can wear all throughout spring/summer, you can’t go wrong really!
I’m sure you’ve heard so many bloggers rave about print trousers this season but.. I’m gonna join in with the rave anyway! This is definitely my favourite trend at the moment and because I love wearing trousers as I don’t always like showing my legs, and I’m trying to add a bit more colour to my clothing at the moment, these are perfect! These lovely pair are from Miss Selfridge and they are only £28! Now I think that’s amazing pricing for Miss Selfridge as they can usually be quite pricing and not in people’s budget range (well mine anyway!). I would recommend every girl purchasing an item like this for summer as I just think they look beautiful and would suit any bodyshape. They are sold pretty much anywhere.. New Look, Topshop, Primark.. it depends on how much money you want to splash out to be honest.

STYLE // THE CROCHET TREND

The crochet trend has made a strong return this summer and I'm super glad! I feel the crochet look gives a luxury edge to this spring/summer as it is so well detailed and pretty. I have a few tops from New Look that have the crochet hem pattern embroidered at the bottom of the top and think they look so innocent and pretty looking. But I decided to do a post about my new white crochet short purchase! I purchased these from Depop but are originally from H&M (I am unsure if they are still available)
The one thing I was worried about these shorts when I was waiting for them to be delivered was that they wouldn't have any linen inside the shorts so they would be see-through and I'm really not a fan of short, see-through clothing. But when I tried them on, you couldn't see a thing thank god! The material is thick so it would not tear easily. The pattern is so detailed and makes them look so summery!
I paired these with a grey crop top from Monki (from Asos) and my Aztec sandals from Primark which were only £4! such a bargain!

What's your favourite signature summer item of clothing?

REVIEW // BEAUBOUTIQUE JEANS

Striped Tee - Primark
Shoes - New Look
Jeans - BeauBoutique
Bag - River Island

Hi girls! I was lucky enough to be sent these amazing denim jeans from Beau Boutique to give an honest review of them to you guys! This colour blue is like a light pastel blue which is perfect for the upcoming summer season in which you can match with basically anything! It works great for a casual look with a basic tee and pumps with a killer bag!

I got these jeans in a size 27' inch as I am a size 8. However, I would recommend going one inch down size as they fitted nicely but sometimes I had to pull them up a bit! But Beau Boutique did send a white belt with the jeans which gave me the perfect fit. My height is 5ft 2" and I found that the length was slightly too long on my legs but that's probably due to me being so short! But it does look flattering wearing them full length but you can always roll them up like I did! The material is lovely and thick so would keep you warm in the colder days. In the picture, you may think that the material is quite tight as they are slim fit jeans, but in fact they aren't too tight and feel extremely comfortable and I would really recommend purchasing a pair from them.

Make sure you check out Beau Boutique's website - www.beau-boutique.com where they sell a range of celebrity and vintage style fashion! They also have an Instagram page @BeauBoutiqueUK where they upload regular images of their latest arrivals and fashion inspiration!
