L'OREAL LA PALETTE NUDE / REVIEW

Long time no see...
On this miserable rainy Sunday, I thought a nice, little review would brighten everyone's day just that tad. When I recently went on holiday, I couldn't help but not resist the world of duty free and whilst waiting for the plane to take off, I had a flick through the on-board magazine as you do, and came across this brand new L'oreal Paris Eyeshadow Palette. I was in desperate need of a new eyeshadow palette in my life so thought it was the perfect opportunity.
I picked up the Rose edition and as you can see from the pictures above, the palette is full of pinky nude colours with a range of mattes and shimmers. And no lie, I would happily wear each and every single one of the colours and that doesn't happen with most palettes. There's normally always that one or two shades which you completely rule out.
I watched my most used and most favourite shades which hare again, shown above. As you can see by the swatches, the shimmers are much more pigmented than the mattes. But in all honesty, I think they are great for the price of £14.99.
From using this to create a nude eye on a night-out, I've found that the lasting power is pretty good, and the blending ability is brilliant.
So if your on the hunt for a new, drugstore eyeshadow palette then I would definitely recommend this one. It has a range of shades that would suit any skin type, having something in there for everyone.

BIO OIL / REVIEW

I can't believe another month has past and now summer is nearly here.  I feel like I say this all the time but I'm sorry for the lack of posts.. i'm currently in the middle of my A Level exams and it's been quite stressful so bare with me, I am posting as much as I possibly can. I really can't wait until I can get fully back into blogging again and styling up outfits for you guys because I love it. I'm off on holiday at the beginning of July so expect a lot of outfit blogposts coming your way then!

Anyway, I invested in the raved-about Bio-Oil just over a month ago now and I mainly use it as a face oil twice a day, in the morning and at night. As the packaging states, it's supposed to minimise scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone and help ageing and dehydrated skin. Now I haven't personally got any of these issues with my skin apart from uneven skin tone on my face. I've heard so many great things about this product from others saying how it does a great job at getting rid of/helping stretch marks. Now I can't comment on this and tell you if it truly works for this particular area - but from using on my face daily for the past month, I can see a slight difference in my skin tone and how it's evened and balanced out in colour and I don't have as much discolouration as I used to before using this oil - which is great. However, I feel like I do need to use it a bit longer and use it on other part of my body to see it's "full effect". I have never tried a face oil before but from using this, I think i'm going to continue using it as I do feel like it is cleansing my pores well and I feel like my skin is happier and less prone to break-out of pores which is a complete life-saver. (As well I need to stop eating so much chocolate!)

I would recommend this product to anyone suffering from stretch marks, scars and blemishes. You can buy it here or from most online beauty stores including feel unique, all beauty and super drug as well as pharmacies and supermarkets.

Hope you're all having a great week enjoying the small amount of sunshine we have in the UK.

MY PAYDAY WISHLIST / MAY

It's that time again for my payday wish list! The month has flown by so quickly and feels like yesterday since I done my last wishlist. Because I've been busy with revision for my final exams, I haven't been blogging as much as I would like so I hope you understand and I will be back with all my time focusing on blogging. So, I've gathered up some items I am loving at the moment at my favourite day of the month. Hope you enjoy x
